1. However, the app seems to have a bug/glitch where you can go an extended period with no issues at all, and then you try to do an assignment and it can't load and has server issues, and the only fix is having to uninstall the app and reinstall it, and then you have to go through the whole process of redownloading textbooks and assignments. This app is buggy.
2. I don't always have access to a computer so being able to use mobile apps to read and do assignments is great when I have a few minutes but this is honestly just becoming such a hassle. This app doesn't show any of the videos.
3. But, at the end of the day, it's not a bad app and the ability to highlight and cloud sync is nice.Makes reading textbooks easier because it keeps my place across all platforms as I switch from one to another.
4. You must keep the screen on, you can not touch the screen or it will stop reading, and you can not choose where to resume/begin the audio reading.
5. I find it to be more convenient to read textbooks and do any assignments through the app itself than on the connect website.
6. The text to speak is difficult to work, and if you accidentally hit the screen, it stops the text to speak.
7. Also the audio stops of you touch the screen, turn off the screen, or if you go to the home screen.
8. I prefer digital textbooks, but I will do everything I can to avoid using this app in the future. The app is good when it works.
9. Slow is way too slow, and normal is sometimes too fast to process the info, so I have to go back and re-read it myself. When the app works, it's super convenient.
10. It makes reading on the go easy and I dont have to lug around textbooks.
11. Flipping pages is a pain, as you can't just slide left or right, you have to go to scroll all the way to the bottom to "flip" the page.
