1. So I can't reach ANY of this app menus, which are dependent of edge gestures as well.Awesome text editor! This is actually what I was searching for! This can open any file like the windows notepad, and no matter how large the codes maybe, takes some time to load, but never crashes unlike other text editors on Android..Thanks to the developer for this app! (However a nice icon will make it look nice at home screen 😁)Was a great app for a while.
2. A big plus was saving everything to a text file immediately, that is an advantage over many other text editors. Was so promising at first.. I'm on moto g7 play, a few main issues: -can't scroll to bottom of file while keyboard is open.
3. Needs history, bank to main menu (instead of exiting app), gets stuck with "open file" displayed (no way to do anything without restarting), needs to trigger the keyboard upon search, searching of text is often hidden behind the keyboard.
4. It IS there but, for some reason or another Text Editor isn't showing that anything is there! Why? Other editors open the file and file directory branches.
5. Unfortunately since a few months the editor refreshes the text file every second so I can't use swipe typing anymore because the keyboard refreshes with the file.
6. -if I'm typing at the top of a long file, it will auto-scroll the page so the cursor's at the bottom of screen -sometimes will not open files it just made -sometimes it takes contents of previous files and puts them into new ones.
7. The main problem those is it just downright dosent work with any custom keyboard.Very poor text editor.
8. Scrolling dosent update the syntax highlighting properly so stuff dosent highlight for a few seconds and on top of that if you pause while scrolling the app sort of snaps to a position when the colors finally update.
9. Switching the keyboard to symbols, Turbo Editor will switch it back.
10. :(PROS: Clean themed UI with reasonably good syntax highlighting; Monospace available, ideal for programming; Autosave feature, ideal for mobile platform.
11. The drawbacks were the impossibility of typing fast as I constantly had to check keys had registered, capital letters had been entered as such, and not as lower case.
