1. The only problem I have with it presently is that it is not possible to automatically locate the file in the containing folder, that has to be done manually using a file manager.Where are the settings to search external SD Card? other apps have that facility so until an update then low ratings.

11. I can see some of you raging in reviews that "The PC app works well" e.t.c well just to inform you, the PC app is made by a different developer .... and I know this is obviously a phone rip-off, but at least it works.

1. Fix Search Everything Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Search Everything: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Search Everything App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Search Everything" » Open Search Everything » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Search Everything » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Search Everything app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Search Everything servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Search Everything" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Search Everything app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Search Everything might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Search Everything. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Search Everything then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Search Everything not working

2. Fix Search Everything Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Search Everything be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Search Everything not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Search Everything may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
