1. I do a lot of old books that don't have barcodes and it's a pain to be switching between the shop and browser the whole time when I'm adding in a new book haul.Love this app! I'm setting up an inventory system and this has been perfect in every way.
2. Most books published outside of the US need to be entered manually too, which can be a pain ┐( ˘_˘)┌ but overall it's a pretty good app, good for keeping track of your books.Great book and movie organizer.
3. Edit - the web version makes more sense for books that don't pull up by barcode because you can use the search function for them.
4. Have a digital book you'd like to enter? You have to manually input everything because the app has no search feature for adding items if you can't scan it.
5. Only suggestions are to be able to list as DVD, BOOK, etc and have sections for each of those categories.Pretty good filing system! This app is good if you want to outline what's in your collection.
6. It also doesn't pick up on special editions, if you have several copies of the same book you'll have to enter them manually.
7. It's not perfect, the biggest bug is I have to restart it after adding more than a few books in a row.
8. Also, a lot of the time the app doesn't show all of my books.
9. However, the app doesn't allow you to search by isbn like the website does which sucks.
10. Highly recommend for beginners or experienced librarians.Mostly ok.... I love the general idea of this app to catalog and organize my book collection.
11. Many times the app says I don't have a book (even when I searched it by title and author) and I end up buying a duplicate copy.
