The app is almost perfect, but the one gripe I have is that it doesn't read a possible shortcut unless it's at the beginning of a line or after a space, so I can't use a shortcut to add text connected to the preceding text without a space.-EDIT- I've changed my review from 2 stars to 4 stars, because the very obvious and show-stopping bugs were fixed.

3. I am furious because this is interfering with my business! Help!OMG: Texpand saves me quite a bit of time every day with entering repetitive text: grocery lists, multiple email signatures, annoying punctuation and symbols (e.g., etc., ∆, ⋮ , ...), auto-entering dates in multiple formats, words I usually misspell.

6. I made a backup and tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but this only made matters worse as the app has only restored about 10 out of about 70 phrases!The app kept stopping on my Samsung device though I'd followed the developer's instructions.

7. Definitely the most open ended text expander I've seen; if you're not satisfied with just gboard then you've come to the right place.Really nice to be able to drop timestamps and text snippets with very little fuss.

8. As a last ditch effort, I backed up my files and uninstalled the app and re-installed and now it is limiting me to only 10 phrases again and there is no option to login, only to repurchase the premium.

1. Fix Texpand Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Texpand: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Texpand App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Texpand" » Open Texpand: Text Expander » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Texpand » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Texpand: Text Expander app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Texpand servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Texpand: Text Expander" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Texpand app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Texpand might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Texpand. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Texpand then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Texpand not working

2. Fix Texpand Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Texpand be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Texpand not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Texpand may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
