1. The Torah (תּוֹרָה, literally "teaching") consists of five books, commonly referred to as the "Five Books of Moses".
2. In Hebrew, the five books of the Torah are identified by the first prominent word in each book.
1. There is no book mark options either. It would be helpful if: The heading showed the chapter you're on You could swipe to the next chapter There was an English audio There was a way to bookmark your pages There was a search for particular verses If you just need to read a certain chapter in a certain book only.. great work!Very nice and simple app.
2. I really appreciate that I can access this version of the Tanach offline.Love having this Tanakh app because I can enlarge the text! Also enjoy having the audio available to help with learning pronunciation.
3. Josh"It would be a much clearer rendition if it were not for the apps information compliers attempt at translation which in turn is nothing more than the author's attempts at transliterations"??? "NOT GOOD"!!!It's a great app with a nice slow voice.
4. You can't swipe left or right to go to the next page, or push the name of the book to access the books.
5. It's good resource for somebody is willing to learn more about Hashem and the people of the book, but also learn the Hebrew languageI use this app very often.
6. Some very minor quibbles: The English used in the translation apparently dates to the 17th century, which gives a clue as to where the author obtained it.
7. Hi there, I have noticed some corrupt audio files in the tanakh on google play that you developed.
8. If you want to read Tanach in English or Hebrew or listen in Hebrew, then this one is admirable.
9. Audio is only if you are on wifi or have data to use on phone plan.
10. And it would be nice if the user could alter the fonts to his/her convenience.I like this app.
11. Specifically audio files.
