1. This app is produced by Foras na Gaeilge, the statutory body responsible for the promotion of the Irish language, and the dictionaries in the app were digitised as part of the New English-Irish Dictionary project ( ). Íoslódáil suas le 3 fhoclóir Gaeilge móide comhaid ghramadaí agus fuaime d’fhocail Ghaeilge, le Teanglann, an aip atá ceangailte le . • An Bunachar Foghraíochta, le 66,000 comhad fuaime i dtrí mhórchanúint na Gaeilge comhaimseartha.
2. Is féidir leat úsáid na mbunachar thuas a shaincheapadh de réir do riachtanais féin – má bhíonn spás ag teastáil ar do ghléas, is féidir fáil réidh le bunachair áirithe, agus iad a ath-íoslódáil níos déanaí más mian leat. • Tapáil faoi dhó ar fhocal in iontráil chun é sin a chuardach.

4. Tá an aip seo á foilsiú ag Foras na Gaeilge, an foras reachtúil atá freagrach as cur chun cinn na Gaeilge.
5. • Pronunciation Database with 66,000 sound files in the three major dialects of contemporary Irish.
6. Is uirlis ríthábhachtach é seo do gach foghlaimeoir agus cainteoir ar gach leibhéal.
7. This is a must-have reference tool for learners and speakers of all abilities.
1. Teanglann allows Irish to punch *way* out of its weight class as a minority language when it comes to reference material.Extremely useful and full featured dictionary resource, with examples from every day and complete grammar, plus pronunciation for most words by native speakers.
2. On three different devices now, many or most of the words that should be clickable links are not, and the audio does not play for any word in any dialect.Fantastic reference! My only suggestions would be: 1) Enable the app to open teanglann.ie links (I frequently use Anki flashcards that have links to the site, and it would be nice to have them route to the app).
3. Sláinte! While the app is great, could I request one tiny, little fix? Rather than the app icon's title being all uppercase in the launcher ("TEANGLANN"), could it be made mixed-case ("Teanglann") so the "N" doesn't get chopped off the end awkwardly?Update didn't fix this major limitation.
4. Grammar database especially useful, but was disappointed to find I can't choose to download dictionaries to my sd card, don't have enough internal storage so had to delete the app and continue using websiteExcellent.
5. Words are explained and it's the resource I go to the most for understanding the Irish language.Go to settings and enable developer options.
6. However, similarly spelt words do not appear in this app nor in the Android compatible teanglann website.
7. This is essential for a language with as many spelling variations as Irish Gaelic.I love the website.
8. if you are learning Irish or even if you just love dictionaries, get this app!!Love the website.
9. Teanglann is so awesome that when studying other languages, I frequently find myself wishing for "Teanglann, but for ".
10. LovelyVery, very helpful in explaining much about Irish grammar and rules and for looking up whatever confuses you.
11. It allows you download what you need and is a proper all Irish setup.
