1. I also use it to make sure I do things I enjoy doing and not just chores.I use a system similar to the one this app offers where I reward myself points for completing tasks and can cash them in for rewards, usually in the form of time to play videogames.
2. Many options (habit tracker, daily tasks, a long-term to-do list) and helpful tools (optional notifications, due date, able to view completed to-dos, and MORE) all alongside a simple to understand layout.
3. Every time I press a task or habit when I didn't mean to, I have to figure out how to deal with items I unintentionally received or quest progress I didn't want progressing.
4. Response doesn't solve issue.Absolutely love this app! I was having a hard time with it because I work late and it would throw off the days but you can go into settings and pick your end time for the day.
5. With this app, I am able to write everything down, break down tasks, designate project time, schedule rewards, etc.
6. So I can end the day at 2am! My friends also use this app and it's so nice to do it together! This helps me with my executive disfunction and I use the to do list portion to keep track of things that don't need to be done immediately.
7. you'll do things like break up projects into smaller goals or admit tasks are difficult so you can get more XP and feel like you're exploiting the developers.
8. Maybe make some kind of "save point" to deal with this?Personally, I just needed a checklist to help me focus and remember things but when I found Habitica I was really intrigued.
9. Really wish that you could customize how many coins you get for completing a task, rather than getting a seemingly random amount tied to a range of difficulties.
10. It helps a lot to have a daily checklist, and this also helps me organize weekly chores and one-off tasks.
11. I haven't explored much of the game aspect yet, but I love that there's a character to keep alive and healthy - just like I'm trying to do for myself.
