1. User be warned, when it works it's nice to read, but expect that slow clunky, can't download, don't close it while downloading it, and if you need help don't bother.Very difficult to get issues to download.

2. Again the magazine is good and reading it on my phone works well and looks nice and is easy to go through but the ap itself to get there is pretty terrible.It's great to access my subscription, but the app itself is very bare-bones.

3. Took Screenshot of their websites own system showing i am good until October 2019, the person then said i called to get an answer i knew? When no, i was calling about not being able to download.

4. The app won't download your issues most of the time, expect to select download more than once, and you cannot switch out of the app while downloading or it will just stop.

5. Finally, if you switched from print to digital and need to make a call expect them to tell you your subscription was canceled and you need to reup.

6. if you get a digital subscription, you will eventually need to demand a refund because either you'll never be able to access your subscription or the app will inevitably break.

7. Downloading an issue sometimes doesn't work, battery consumption is very high, and app continues to run in the background once you exit.

8. I am a print subscriber and should be able to read the digital issues.

9. DO NOT GO DIGITAL, if possible just avoid Game Informer the writers might be nice, but the CS team couldn't care less.

10. it seems like it didn't work but if you wait a minute and press it again it'll show a higher percentage downloaded and then flash and go back to the original screen again.

11. This app is a waste of memory space on my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.It's a really great idea, but the app needs some work.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Game In Issues

1. Fix Game In Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Game In: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Game In App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Game In" » Open Game Informer » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Game In » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Game Informer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Game In servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Game Informer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Game In app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Game In might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Game In. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Game In then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Game In not working


2. Fix Game In Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Game In be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Game In not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Game In may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
