BrandBee Customer Insights

1. The fact that the points gained per day being changed to 5 from 10 after the big rebrand still seems like an odd choice, but it's not something to get hung up on, I guess.I absolutely loved this app when it was Mobile Performance Meter, used it for years! Unfortunately with the new updates, the app doesn't even open, I have been missing out on daily points for months now and Unfortunately there's no way to redeem my points I did have saved up prior to this issue.

2. Haven't even been able to open it for 3 days it just gives an error message "oops! It's probably us! Looks like a momentary issue, please try again later" ...I'd like to see if I have rewards and am going my daily meter didn't get interrupted by this - I don't even know when it actually started just that for 3 days it's been that message and only that when I open it.I really enjoyed this app when it was Mobile Performance Meter.

3. Surveys are hit or miss, but they always are - but when you earn your points (and you do, passively, even if surveys don't work out) and cash them out, there's never been an issue for me.

4. I do not like the new update!! I have done 5 surveys in a row, and I keep getting "Survey was not successfully completed." The old app was just fine, and you actually got rewards and at least got 2 points for not being able to complete the surveys.

5. If I choose to do surveys they pay points that add up to $$ I can redeem when I choose and with many different options, from virtual cards, store gift cards and more.

6. I sent a message to support, will change my review back if I ever get my account back up and running.. I miss how easy the app was to navigate.I actually have to give it 5 stars, except for the time between surveys and not qualified I was able to cash out and use them.

7. You won't get rich doing surveys, but It's a great app that does work for me and gives me a little boost with $$.This is technically a re-review I have for the app, but the experience for it has been a lot better as of recently.

8. I've been emailing and opening "tickets" from the app for help to get more than 6500 points back, and so far, my messages have been ignored.

9. I had their predecessor app (creatively named "Mobile Data") for years, and I highly recommend "Brandbee" over the competition.Sometimes I forget I have BrandBee, but it keeps working for me while I'm busy with other things.

10. You can't afford a new house or anything, but if you just keep saving and doing some whenever you can, it adds up!This is used to be the BEST app when it was Mobile Performance Meter.

11. Ever since they updated and changed to BrandBee, it is constantly glitching and logging me out, which makes earning idle points nearly impossible.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix BrandBee Issues

1. Fix BrandBee Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart BrandBee: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the BrandBee App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BrandBee" » Open BrandBee: Surveys & Gift Cards » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BrandBee » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear BrandBee: Surveys & Gift Cards app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BrandBee servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BrandBee: Surveys & Gift Cards" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check BrandBee app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, BrandBee might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall BrandBee. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall BrandBee then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing BrandBee not working


2. Fix BrandBee Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make BrandBee be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to BrandBee not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, BrandBee may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I can't log in to my BrandBee account. My points from mobile performance meter won't transfer to my new BrandBee account. I can't get in either my mobile performance meter, or BrandBee account it says error. I have points on my mobile performance meter but can't open it. So what can be done?

  • Had to re install mobile performance app. List all my points. I rely on my poi to for Walmart gift card's. Helps me buy things for my 9 yr old. May I please have my points or gift card back please?

  • Hi , I'm writing you because I am having some issues..
    1: My first issues is on my one device which I'm not sure how you would identify the accounts but the phone number is 321-333-7678 or IMEI # 3595 8209 2233 679 I was trying to cash in my points which 330 every time I requested to customer I would receive the email showing i would that I would receive them shortly but later when I went back onto the app I had noticed my points were put back on so I checked in my history and it showed that it was canceled ..So I had decided to uninstall the app ( which I have done in the past when having an issue and my luck back in never had a problem) well now I'm logging back in or at least trying to it tells me (sorry either your device is not currently eligible to participate in this program or the program is full) So now I can't even use the app anymore 😭😟
    2: I have quite a few devices that I have mobile performance meter on ..well I did try to redeem my points a few and again same thing.So I decided to try one of my other devices and again the same thing.i would receive the notice to my email that my card has been ordered but then a little while later my d would be in my account and in history it shows it was cancelled ?? Very confused,Please help me

  • I ordered my 4 n 5 dollar Walmart gift cards 2 day's ago. And I haven't received them yet. It says I should receive them right away if not give it 24 hour's. Still nothing 2 day's later.
