1. I can listen to a book of the Bible, a learning plan, or themed playlist any time I need to.

2. I've never had a problem with choosing a voice or version before without even locking in a voice or versionEverything about the app is great! It's all pure Bible, and I would say that is my favorite thing about it.

3. I'd also love to be able to select more than one chapter per book when making a list instead of having to go back out and reselect the book for each additional chapter.Dwell App has great features.

9. I wish it was cheaper.Misleading. The description lists all these things you can do with the app, then afterward says "with our free 7 day trial..." and then lists all the things it said you could AGAIN even though you thought free meant free.

10. I have a year's worth of playlists, and I have to scroll through 365 of them (not in order) to find the playlist for a particular date.

11. Or having to leave to find it in the Bible Plan.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Dwell Issues

1. Fix Dwell Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Dwell: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Dwell App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Dwell" » Open Dwell: Audio Bible » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Dwell » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Dwell: Audio Bible app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Dwell servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Dwell: Audio Bible" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Dwell app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Dwell might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Dwell. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Dwell then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Dwell not working


2. Fix Dwell Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Dwell be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Dwell not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Dwell may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
