1. I get it that print news needs every dollar it can get, but having to put up with very invasive and annoying ads from a news service I subscribe to and pay for is a little much for me.This app is very frustrating and of very little use to me because it will not allow me to finish reading an article before it blacks everything out! I am a subscriber to the DMN and my email address is in the settings so there should be no reason for this to be happening!! This app needs to be fixed so it can determine subscribers from non-subscribers!!Had the app for a couple years.
2. Disappointed that such a big paper has such a poor digital experience.App works fine enough to deliver news articles but is filled to the brim with ads that just won't shut the hell up.
3. When cancelling my account I was directed to the epaper app, which holding hope, is only a PDF viewer of the daily paper, not ideal for palm sized news consumption.
4. Clicking links to stories from The News on Twitter doesn't open the articles in the app.
5. Other times it loads the front page and then won't load any others.New app seems designed to hide the news from readers.
6. It would be nice to be able to open directly to the sports section, for example, so I don't have to stomach the trash content dumped on me in the main headlines.App has to many bugs.
7. Headlines are cut off, very few stories are shown on the page, images take up too much space on a small screen, can't adjust font size.Biased reporting.
8. And for some reason known only to those developers, phone volume controls are inaccessible with the app open.I cancelled my subscription purely because of how terrible this app is.
9. The tile cards only showed a handful of stories, login information was constantly forgotten, and the user experience was terrible.
10. Then I close app and reopen to get back in and sometimes it immediately can't find me again....so I go to the Washington post and get news for the day.
11. Getting the local news is nice, but the app is really ugly to look at.
