1. Love the homepage/first-screen, so much useful info all together in one place, quick to see what's happening.👍(-/+?)Any way to implement an option to customise the data usage? I presume like me others also uses android on their portable devices🧐, and perhaps shortly after noticed their Data Usage maybe have Skyrocketed in silence before it must have gone Supernova😄.

(+)Other than that I might say I am enjoying this application👍I no longer receive "Global Watch Is High" notifications since the change.

3. Looking at the changes that have been implemented which is an amazing job BTW, a must have app especially in today's climate.I am an original founder of this app and the new updates are fantastic! There were some aspects of the old app that didn't work anymore so I'm really excited to receive that information again and so much more! Lots of visualizations, more granularity on the things I want to be alerted on, and a lot to still discover.

4. Am I missing something? Phone is a Moto G Stylus 5G 2022.The app seems to have stopped working for me its only giving me a photo of the sun and no other data at the moment.

6. Thank you so much for updating this app and breathing new life into it!I want to love the new app but I don't, it's way less user friendly and much harder to read.

7. I that something comming or am I blind? Furthe, when scrubbing throught the charts the most recent data is cut off if I move over to the right.

8. I have notifications on but I don't receive any, also when I go into the app to view the alerts it's just seems like a cluttered wall of text.

9. My phone is set to allow all notifications from the app and I have every available notification turned on within the app.

10. Blot echo wind map is working on my phone (didn't load in the old app).

11. I love your Youtube channel and I appreciate everyone that works on this stuff but I think sadly this app just doesn't compare to the old version.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Carrington Issues

1. Fix Carrington Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Carrington: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Carrington App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Carrington" » Open Carrington » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Carrington » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Carrington app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Carrington servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Carrington" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Carrington app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Carrington might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Carrington. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Carrington then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Carrington not working


2. Fix Carrington Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Carrington be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Carrington not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Carrington may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
