1. I reccomend just using the desktop site (mobile browsers can be set to do this.) That works just fine.Ok. What's the point of getting the app if the same thing runs way better in internet browsers? I look up certain key words.

Nothing is working and I'm getting frustrated because of this.I don't know when it happened but the search function is so unaccurate, if you look up a character from a series it can take like 10 posts before getting actually what you searched for, and then after it's still not just what you looked up, I don't get why the change happened or how it's actually this bad but fix the search button and my opinion on the app will change.A downgrade from the desktop version.

3. I can't view images on my browser, can't search on the app, so what's even the point of using this site anymore if nothing works? Unusable as it is.Just installed latest Update - thought, for some reason, I'd be able to give Badges to art if I did.

4. Edit: now fixed, thanks a million!Having major issues trying to get the app to recognize and open links in and outside the app, such as trying to tap links in the app from journals or descriptions linking to other DA content, or external links associated with the site.

5. This time, the notifications have been absent for months, and I've been having to manually check for notifications instead of having them be automatic.

6. That is not what I searched, and no matter what I type, it doesn't change the images it's showing, nor even the number of results.

7. It also does not have an option for notifications when artists you watch submit work, though admittedly that's probably not in high demand.

8. One major problem is that since around spring/ early summer, the notifications have not been working at all.

9. But, when it's uploaded, that doesn't happen! It's only when I go to the website, edit the deviation, set it to show at a certain percentage smaller than the original that I can get the watermark to show.

10. Better text/story layout and reader options would be appreciated as well, such as being able to bookmark/pin your spot in a story to pick back up on.It's all right but needs serious improvements for artists.

1. Fix DeviantArt Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart DeviantArt: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the DeviantArt App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "DeviantArt" » Open DeviantArt » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for DeviantArt » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear DeviantArt app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from DeviantArt servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "DeviantArt" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check DeviantArt app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, DeviantArt might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall DeviantArt. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall DeviantArt then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing DeviantArt not working

2. Fix DeviantArt Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make DeviantArt be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to DeviantArt not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, DeviantArt may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
