1. Try it for yourself.Great app! Free version identified duplicate contacts -- and which fields were the same -- in seconds and gave me the ability to choose which contacts to merge (as opposed to all or none).

2. I'm didn't sign up for being a beta tester.Read on a forum post that this application is capable of removing duplicate phone numbers within the same contact.

3. Some of my contacts had up to 4 of the same numbers saved as one contact which was really frustrating as when I used to search for a contact and a list of the same numbers used to show but this app actually got rid of it.

1. Fix Contacts Optimizer Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Contacts Optimizer: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Contacts Optimizer App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Contacts Optimizer" » Open Contacts Optimizer » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Contacts Optimizer » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Contacts Optimizer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Contacts Optimizer servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Contacts Optimizer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Contacts Optimizer app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Contacts Optimizer might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Contacts Optimizer. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Contacts Optimizer then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Contacts Optimizer not working

2. Fix Contacts Optimizer Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Contacts Optimizer be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Contacts Optimizer not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Contacts Optimizer may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
