Why should I report an Issue with Hermit — Lite Apps Browser?

1. I've swapped the apps I have for Hermits mini versions with success and they work great and I can tell the phone runs faster.September 24, 2021 Update!! I would like to suggest an export-import option for lite apps, whether pre-configured or self-configured, especially for those of us who are uninstalling and reinstalling apps constantly.

Hermit is a great app in the sense that it is different than most apps here,, but it needs the option of having multiple tabs on each Lite app, and having them remain open after your switch Lite appsI have a phone with limited storage so I t rt u not to load any more apps on the phone than I have too.

3. Hopefully an update in the future will fix my issues and I can try this again.My "lite apps" suddenly have a bar at the top where the URL is, like you would have in a normal mobile browser, and apparently you have to enable "swipe gestures" in the browser to use frameless mode.

1. Fix Hermit Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Hermit: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Hermit App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hermit" » Open Hermit — Lite Apps Browser » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hermit » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Hermit — Lite Apps Browser app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hermit servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hermit — Lite Apps Browser" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Hermit app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hermit might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Hermit. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hermit then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hermit not working

2. Fix Hermit Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hermit be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hermit not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hermit may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
