Quantum Fiber Customer Insights

1. Do not use!Used to be able to control the modem and devices on it now just shows you billing not even worth the download bring back the control in the app Tried reaching out to email provided to no responseamazing speeds! 6th gen wifi pods are amazing.

2. lovin it so far.App is horrible, cannot connect at all, have to uninstall and reinstall and then hit or miss for a week.Useless, I haven't been able to open it once, it keep saying it ran into an issue.

3. I had CenturyLink before and service dropped maybe 4 times in a year, I have had Quantum for 2 months now and lose service every other week.There is an error every time I try to connect.

4. I expect to at least be able to monitor network status and connected devices and was hoping to also have network tools for limiting kids wifi time and enhanced security.

5. Contacting through the app has not been successful, but calling the phone has gotten better results.Awful company, internet, customer service etc.

6. It started out great and now I lose service at least every other week.

7. I am a UX designer (software designer) so I'm really surprised at the business decision to launch this unfinished.The app has very little information, during an outage, all it said was "internet down" which was unhelpful.

8. Otherwise its clunky, if the Quantum website weren't so bad, the app would be pointless.When it works its great.

9. The last tech that came said a tech took my Internet and gave it to someone else.

10. The service slows down, once I restart everything up it works for a little while and then goes back to the same.

11. I actually connect my mint mobile phone's hotspot ove it because it's faster and I pay $30/month for it and can use it anywhere.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Quantum Fiber Issues

1. Fix Quantum Fiber Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Quantum Fiber: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Quantum Fiber App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Quantum Fiber" » Open Quantum Fiber » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Quantum Fiber » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Quantum Fiber app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Quantum Fiber servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Quantum Fiber" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Quantum Fiber app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Quantum Fiber might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Quantum Fiber. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Quantum Fiber then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Quantum Fiber not working


2. Fix Quantum Fiber Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Quantum Fiber be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Quantum Fiber not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Quantum Fiber may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
