1. Here's what the app/platform needs: 1) a dark mode (for the app, since the website offers this); 2) a "reading challenge" or "reading goal" feature to help me track how many books I read in a year; 3) an expanded library of books. The page always fails to load.
2. Great way of finding new books to read and seeing how many pages you've read etc!I really wanted to like this, but the app won't even let me sign in (that's after it wouldn't let me create an account either) so I used the desktop site to create my profile.
3. Also, it tends to be an exclusive community as some are already a group, and things just basically happen around them (swaps, tags, etc.).As a platform Litsy is great but this app is in desperate need of an update.
4. It would be cool if there was a feature that tells you how many books in common you have with someone. All I needed was a "to-read" booklist, not yet another social network riddled w status anxiety & a surfeit of hyperbole/exclamation marks.
5. On one hand I love Litsy because of the book community and getting to connect with like minded bookworms.
6. Would recommend if people enjoy books and want a tailored social media platform for it.
7. The UI could also do with an update but it seems the developers have completely abandoned what was a really promising app.Meh I really wanted to like this app but it's not easy to add books.
8. On Instagram, I felt some pressure to make beautiful pictures of books, but on Litsy there is no pressure.
9. I read series that have 10+ books and I had to type in EACH title in the search.
10. I dont want to see posts by the Litsy on my feed, it's annoying, no way to mute them.
11. It crashes more than half the time, we still cannot tag people without using up precious characters, and the home feed does not automatically refresh.
