Why should I report an Issue with Universal Copy?

1. If you want to copy multiple things from the same page it is all crammed into a single paste, and trying to copy things one at a time is grueling because you have to relaunch the app after every copy and watch ads on top of that.

2. On other applications it works as expected, but the normal copy tools generally work there too.I'm paying for this app because its providing an amazing service with a simple user-friendly controls.

3. Only forever between the free and paid versions is after 10 uses you have to watch a 30 second ad for the free version which isn't bad seen as I'm using it to edit my book on an app that you can't copy on.

4. When you are on a page you want to capture and click on the notification (in your device's Notifications screen...in mine it is near the bottom), click one of the bottons which appear at the top of the page (I generally use the OCR button), then tap the area you want to capture.

5. To copy text from YouTube descriptions and transcripts, which recently stopped working on Android with native tools.

6. Well done, devs.!Used to be one of my fave apps, but since the latest update with the addition of more intrusive ads in the free version, it's become unusable.

7. From the easy activation from the notification bar, to the self dismissing function after copying your text, to the lack of any intrusive ads, it is an absolute dream to use.

8. Edit 7/6/20: noted that YouTube has made some change, that prevents Universal Copy from functioning correctly.It had one job to do.

1. Fix Universal Copy Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Universal Copy: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Universal Copy App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Universal Copy" » Open Universal Copy » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Universal Copy » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Universal Copy app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Universal Copy servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Universal Copy" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Universal Copy app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Universal Copy might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Universal Copy. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Universal Copy then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Universal Copy not working

2. Fix Universal Copy Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Universal Copy be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Universal Copy not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Universal Copy may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
