Axis 360 Customer Insights

1. Listening to a good book makes time fly, whether I am working around the house or traveling.It's very difficult to move around and find the different possible sites.i am used to my local library site where I can easily find what I'm looking for.

2. I'll keep pulling and pulling at the bottom of the screen but new books never load until like the 10th try at which point I'm ready to give up and find another app to use.I enjoy listening to audio books and reading digital books on Axis 360.

3. Axis 360 is garbage and I'll be petitioning my library to move to a different service.it allows me to get audio books from my library and that is great.

4. It glitches and makes it seem like you have no books checked out, crashes when I try to listen to an audiobook while browsing my library, or doing literally anything else in the app.

5. When I restart it, it displays a message asking me if I want to restart the audio several chapters back instead of where it stopped itself...every time...and it won't continue while I'm driving.

6. I am very pleased with the selection and the wait time for holds, though!Axis 360 has its own opinion about how Audiobooks should be read.

7. Irresponsible & unsafe.Update: now it logs you out after each session so I'm stuck adding my library each time I need to use the app.

8. Every time I pause the playback, it goes back to the beginning of the chapter.

9. For some reason it doesn't want to work with my wireless headphones like the Libby app, I can't pause it from my headset.

10. this is especially bad since the fast forward and rewind only works when you have the screen on, so if I'm in the car i have to pick up my phone.I am only partway through my first audiobook, but so far I like Axis 360.

11. I highly recommend Axis 360 because you will find a variety of genres in both adult and children's literature.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Axis 360 Issues

1. Fix Axis 360 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Axis 360: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Axis 360 App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Axis 360" » Open Axis 360 » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Axis 360 » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Axis 360 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Axis 360 servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Axis 360" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Axis 360 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Axis 360 might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Axis 360. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Axis 360 then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Axis 360 not working


2. Fix Axis 360 Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Axis 360 be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Axis 360 not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Axis 360 may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
