At this rate I'm just keeping it for the date countdown and have moved all my planning to a journalThis app was brilliant at the start but now when we up date the budget page with what we have paid the total paid and the top of the page doesn't change and nether dose the budget remaining percentageI love this app.

3. One example is if you're planning a wedding at the border between 2 countries in Europe, but you can only select a single country to look for venues and you are stuck with that, unable to select a different one once you've created an account with one country.

4. I definitely would recommend.This is such an amazing app and has made wedding planning so much easier! They've considered all the little details even down to inputting everyone's dietary requirements as you add them to the guest list.

5. Otherwise helpful app with lots of options to look at.It's a useful enough app, but they send far too many emails once you sign up, it doesn't seem to be possible to unsubscribe through the app and when I managed to unsubscribe on a desktop, they continued to send emails.

6. I would like to see a feature that would allow the user to edit the items on their shortlist and I would also like to see the name be the main requirement to save and not the email as some venues don't have an email and only a number.

7. It helped me find my venue which I wouldn't have found by myself and it makes it easy to sort out your guest list.

8. I've reached a point of just straight up deleting my account to stop them from emailing me.I loved this app, I had all my wedding planned out on it, saved everything I had booked.

9. Now after a new update on it, it takes ages to load, and has lost my venue even when I search for it literally down to the full address and postcode.

10. It's been soooo helpful for my wedding planning so far.

11. Only minor inconvenience is it does freeze occasionally.It limits to 80 favourites, that's no where near enough to save everything! It needs to be unlimited.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Bridebook Issues

1. Fix Bridebook Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Bridebook: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Bridebook App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Bridebook" » Open Bridebook - Wedding Planner » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Bridebook » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Bridebook - Wedding Planner app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Bridebook servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Bridebook - Wedding Planner" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Bridebook app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Bridebook might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Bridebook. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Bridebook then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Bridebook not working


2. Fix Bridebook Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Bridebook be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Bridebook not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Bridebook may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
