1. Highly recommended.When using the app for navigation you have to keep the phone screen active, cannot put it to sleep, because in case of Samsung Note 10 (the phone I'm using), the phone is relentless at killing all "unnecessary" background apps when the screen goes dark to save battery life.

1. Fix BMW Motorrad Connected Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart BMW Motorrad Connected: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the BMW Motorrad Connected App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "BMW Motorrad Connected" » Open BMW Motorrad Connected » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for BMW Motorrad Connected » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear BMW Motorrad Connected app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from BMW Motorrad Connected servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "BMW Motorrad Connected" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
