Also your info is shared with Facebook.I just downloaded this app and it's amazing, I don't know why people are complaining so much about the ads, yes theres ads but that's with any app nowadays, the only problem I have with this app is with the widget, the widget gives the wrong location and it won't let me change it within the widget, but I'm sure they can fix it then I wouldn't mind paying to remove the ads!the app ia incorrectly show the locations and the weather.

2. in the other hand its not really optimised and have 0 feature to change to this from any other weather apps (darksky,accuweather,etc)This seems great but: the icon in the status bar is too tiny (hard to read temperature at a glance) and the notification in the notification drawer should adapt to the dark theme.

3. Amd my GPS works fine, google maps finds my location exactly.While most settings are easy to change (and I like knowing it's only going to be 20 degrees on Mars tomorrow), the blasted app kept insisting that I was in West Bend, which is apparently in Wisconsin.

4. It lets me add my location, but it wont let me remove the wrong one, and every time i open it it keeps going back to the wrong one.

5. i get that this is a free app but having to spend 5 seconds watching an ad every time i want to check the weather is nuts.

6. Also the widgets you download come with their own set of ADs and notifications seperate from the main app, a lot of which can not be dismissed from your pull down notification screen, unless you turn each and every one off.

7. You can't remove the auto detect location, I never use it and of course it doesn't detect the correct place.

8. I downloaded this app because it appeared to be the replacement for HD Widgets' weather widgets.

9. Yahoo weather or the weather channel apps have ads that are discreet and don't take over the entire screen.

10. I used HD Widgets until recently when the weather quit working.

11. the number of widgets are far from the promised and far from the required ones (once again,check darksky and learn from them).

1. Fix Apex Weather Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Apex Weather: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Apex Weather App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Apex Weather" » Open Apex Weather » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Apex Weather » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Apex Weather app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Apex Weather servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Apex Weather" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Apex Weather app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Apex Weather might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Apex Weather. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Apex Weather then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Apex Weather not working

2. Fix Apex Weather Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Apex Weather be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Apex Weather not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Apex Weather may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
