1. It would be nice, I think, if the app had a dark mode too, since it is easier on the eyes especially in the darker hours.At long last I have found the NIV 1984 Bible! I just recently lost my S8 in a jeepney and though I have backed up all my data and updated the passwords, my old phone had the dove Bible with a downloaded file for NIV 1984 that couldn't be used in the new version.

2. Only problem is when you're dragging the scroll bar up or down from one book to other books, the scroll bar will reset back to your current book again and again.I so appreciate the easy reading style of this version.

Reading was never my strong point but I go to YouTube ect to get background to most of what I'm reading, it makes it so much more easier than reading text and if your jumping from one book to another then you will understand how each book is tied to the next, it's great to get an overview of if your a new ChristianThis app beats others I've tried for workability without distracting ads.

4. I love too that I can read multiple parts of the Bible and still find them whenever I open to the book I was reading.

5. My reading plan involves reading multiple books each day, so to be able to pick up from where I left off in each book after jumping to another book is a real joy.

6. A good word search option would also be nice.This is a clean, simple and excellent menu system to quickly access books, chapters and verses.

7. This is now my favorite Bible app and preferred way to read the 1984 NIV, It almost makes me think about unloading some of the paper versions of the 1984 NIV, I've collected off eBay over the years.

8. Thank you!Unlike other apps that claim to be but are not, this app [so far] is ABSOLUTELY true to the 1973-78' & 84' printed version of the Zondervan Holy Bible.

1. Fix NIV1984 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart NIV1984: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the NIV1984 App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "NIV1984" » Open NIV1984 » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for NIV1984 » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear NIV1984 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from NIV1984 servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "NIV1984" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check NIV1984 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, NIV1984 might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall NIV1984. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall NIV1984 then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing NIV1984 not working

2. Fix NIV1984 Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make NIV1984 be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to NIV1984 not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, NIV1984 may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
