1. So what I did was I put it through Luck Patcher and removed the ads and made all the payed things free and it made a HUGE! difference in performance.Something dodgy about this app, first tells me to enter my Instagram username and password (I did and doesn't log me in), then I saw that your supposed to turn off a security option (two factor authentication) which to me just looks weird.

2. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!! If I could rate it with 0 stars I would.An app that couldn't ne trusted.I had installed this app and as soon as I logged in to this with my Instagram password the password got synced and within few minutes I got a mail from Instagram stating that an unusual login of my account took place, it was from another state, it means my password was used.

3. I'm pretty sure it hacked my account, because I keep getting emails that someone from a different device then mine has loged in to my ig account, so everytime that happens I change my password, and then I have to log in to this app again, and about 5 min after I've loged into this app, that other device logs into my account.

4. Therefore I would appreciate so much if I could just get a refund, i Can provide proof if neededPayed for the subscription for the added features, yet said features remained locked, and when I try to access, it simply prompts me to re purchase the subscription, which it also won't let me do because the subscription is already active.

5. It took my money and I didnt even get the subscription or get to test it for the three day free trial.

6. My daughter accidentally clicked to purchase but then an error message appeared saying that there was an issue with identifying purchase identity, so we thought that meant payment didnt go through.

7. After hours troubleshooting neither Insights or Google play will refund me my $44.32. not only that, but I didn't even receive access that a yearly subscription allows.

8. In Play store if it was possible to rate an app with Zero stars,I wouldI was charged and couldn't even use any of the features.

9. And anyways besides being a free app it doesn't show anything for free and asks for paid subscriptions to view insights.

10. I wasn't even given that 3 day trial I initially wanted.Ok I did see some sort of ad on Instagram so I decided to try it out! Thay are a bit of ads that bog down your phone and make the experience awful.

11. When I clicked on a 3 day free trial I was charged for a full year.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Insights+ Issues

1. Fix Insights+ Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Insights+: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Insights+ App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Insights+" » Open Insights+ for Android » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Insights+ » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Insights+ for Android app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Insights+ servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Insights+ for Android" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Insights+ app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Insights+ might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Insights+. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Insights+ then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Insights+ not working


2. Fix Insights+ Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Insights+ be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Insights+ not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Insights+ may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
