I love alone so it is fabulous to be able to practiceI enjoy the app as it has many different exercises and the difference between male and female voices.I am learning to hear again so app is workiing for me but I wish ther was a place on the app where I could ask a question, like: Why do the percentages remain the same in a set of exercises even when I score 10 correct out of 10 exercises?Update: I want to change my rating to 5 stars.

I wish you could also add challenges to practice my speech as well (use speech to text to verify) Only one note is that city noises start very loud and then going more silent.. it feels like you're doing to us a favor so we can understand later.. if you just make it constant volume Thanks again.

3. Environmental sounds in the city, I hit replay because I didn't understand the train sound, but it gave me motorcycle instead, which was a previous answer.

4. Play store also threw an error that it is unable to install the app.It is tough to hear the correct vowel sounds.

5. Another issue (though very minor) is the design decision to slow down everything you do with unnecessary count downs and long animated score counts.The idea is great, but .. I recently got implants so this WAS helping.

6. I have to listen carefully and repeat exercises severl times to practice hearing word correctly.

7. However, there tends to be some issues where replaying sounds do not give the same sound.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Hearoes Issues

1. Fix Hearoes Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Hearoes: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Hearoes App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Hearoes" » Open Hearoes » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Hearoes » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Hearoes app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Hearoes servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Hearoes" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Hearoes app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Hearoes might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Hearoes. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Hearoes then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Hearoes not working


2. Fix Hearoes Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Hearoes be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Hearoes not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Hearoes may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
