11. Bark Home requires an active Bark subscription.
1. Manually connect the child's device to the computer, but then the monitoring is done over your WiFi network...unless the connection doesn't work, then send an email for support.
2. Setup is very difficult: if you want to monitor a child's device, you need to install a program on a computer, but it has to be Windows or Apple, no Chromebook.
3. Since then, the VPN feature, which is required to make the app work, has turned my child's phone Samsung Galaxy S7 into a brick.
4. It's not the developer's fault, but half the features, and the most important ones, are unavailable. The VPN system makes sense mechanically, but the system just plain doesn't function.
5. As soon as it charged my card after the trial was over, hasn't worked since!!Features all sound great, and the interface is decent...but it's basically impossible to use at this point.
6. Nothing but slick marketing and interface - run away.Edit - I am revising my review to 4 stars for the time being bc their customer service is great.
7. Everything gets clogged up in it, all the other data services on the phone stop functioning, and tech support is some of the worst I've experienced.
8. And why does a confirmation come up everytime I block or allow a single app? Very annoying.Doesn't work well at all! I agree with everyone that has stated it is not consistent.
9. It keeps forcing me to the credit card page with the phone selected when I log in.Absolutely awful! It says it works for iOS but it is an absolute NIGHTMARE to get it figured out.
10. Alerts for the word ”damn", every other Taylor Swift song, and worship music (due to violence).
11. Hence, the app is useless because they have to turn the VPN off in order to actually use the phone, it's features, or apps.
