Family Zone Connect Customer Insights

1. The web interface didn't allow changes to children's time zones (was able to change on Android app), the Android app on my S10+ has crashed multiple times and there is no "off-line" (other than sleeping) option for the timetable routines.used 6 out of my 7 gigs of data, and has slowed it to the point if 200 kb/s.

2. Mobile Zone is always running in the background in order to block applications, so the app is going to use more battery than other apps.not good.

3. (I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S8)Family Zone deletes some apps automatically like discord and it doesn't allow you to install it again and use it.

4. You can't see how long your child has been online for! Useless! Can't choose which apps to block - only a group of apps.

5. As well as that, it depletes your battery too quickly.We were recommended Family Zone by an internet safety workshop.

6. ( dont) finally was able to delete it after disabling some permissions buried deep in the phones settings.

7. but it blocked my apps, couldn't open apps, then tried to delete it found i couldn't.

8. Cannot begin to recite the amount of times I have been yelled at because of incomplete homework.

9. Ever since I updated this app, I haven't been able to update any others.

10. Even simple games have been deleted and is nit allowed to be installed.

11. The family zone app is useless! I have to use my computer to do anything with family zone.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Family Zone Connect Issues

1. Fix Family Zone Connect Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Family Zone Connect: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Family Zone Connect App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Family Zone Connect" » Open Family Zone Connect » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Family Zone Connect » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Family Zone Connect app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Family Zone Connect servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Family Zone Connect" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Family Zone Connect app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Family Zone Connect might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Family Zone Connect. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Family Zone Connect then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Family Zone Connect not working

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Family Zone Connect be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
