SC Emergency Manager Customer Insights

1. Paper Hurricane Guide needs to be large, black font on emergency numbers/info & do not leave off part of SC state map & adjoining states's emergency info.

2. When I go to maps then earthquake it pulls up then when I scroll down it doesn't give me any options just goes on to maps of other places than just SC.Not helpful, the save button is off screen so no info I input it's able to be saved.

3. The alerts were constantly going off telling us of Hurr warning, tornado alerts and to see media for add'l info.

4. They need to work on info skillsOn the mobile app, when I click on closings and delays, it's not listing the counties like it should.

5. That if I do call them I can give them advice as to what is going on in case they don't have internet.Can't get it to work 😫 on my Samsung S21 works on my husband's.

6. Any idea when it will be fixed?I have used this app during hurricane season when roads were all going out of town, away from the ocean.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix SC Emergency Manager Issues

1. Fix SC Emergency Manager Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart SC Emergency Manager: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the SC Emergency Manager App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "SC Emergency Manager" » Open SC Emergency Manager » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for SC Emergency Manager » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear SC Emergency Manager app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from SC Emergency Manager servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "SC Emergency Manager" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check SC Emergency Manager app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, SC Emergency Manager might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall SC Emergency Manager. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall SC Emergency Manager then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing SC Emergency Manager not working


2. Fix SC Emergency Manager Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make SC Emergency Manager be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to SC Emergency Manager not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, SC Emergency Manager may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
