2. The bar had been set for me early and extremely high since 3 of 4 brothers had achieved Eagle Scout awards and one brother had reached the next lowest Life award at our home church, St.Albans First Baptist Church.
3. My 1st summer camp in June-74, age 10, still in Cub Pack & attending w/my SA FBC Troop 25 lead committee member Father & four of my BSA older brothers, who ALL, descided to ensure that it was not going to be a "Lazy Sunday stroll in the park" easy task.
4. My 1st trip was June 1974, Buckskin Council troop 6 at the Saint Albans, West Virginia First Presbyterian Church.
5. Troop 25 was led by BSA Scout Master Michael Watts, with 2 Assistant Scout Master's Edsal Whaling & C.W. "Dub" Henley.
6. But never could any of my 6 siblings ever know or predict how fearful and tough my journey to Eagle Scout would be.
7. I spent EVERY summer @ BSA summer Camp at Dilly's Mill in Pocahontas County, West Virginia.
8. These 3 men with a lot of parental help and guidance ensured Troop 25 was a God-send to dozen upon dozens of young impressionable Boy Scouts.
