Why should I report an Issue with QuickDic Dictionary?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of Reimar Döffinger to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. Use the long-press menu of a word to have your device's text-to-speech implementation speak it for you (you may need to install text-to-speech data for the language first).

2. But if they do not get fixed I likely do not have enough information to do that, and reporting them (and other issues) on github ( ) would likely be helpful.

Also etymology part in definition page doens't look great.it is useless with this design, i had old version in my previous phone and i miss that one,i use only english one with examples and explanations,and words open with etymology(which i don't need ) ,that doesn't fit to screen,i used very old version and it was compatible with my phoneSo GOOD! (EN; EN-FR) This dictionary has been a lifesaver so many times.

2. However, when using the single language dictionaries, in my case English (I tried with French and saw the same result), the content displayed when you look up the definition of a word is displayed as black text on white background.

3. Also add a button for pronounciation of words using native google text to speech engine found in most modern android phones.

6. This is very blinding when used in dark lighting because of the sudden switch from dark theme to a blinding bright white light in your face.

1. Fix QuickDic Dictionary Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart QuickDic Dictionary: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the QuickDic Dictionary App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "QuickDic Dictionary" » Open QuickDic Dictionary » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for QuickDic Dictionary » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear QuickDic Dictionary app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from QuickDic Dictionary servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "QuickDic Dictionary" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check QuickDic Dictionary app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, QuickDic Dictionary might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall QuickDic Dictionary. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall QuickDic Dictionary then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing QuickDic Dictionary not working

2. Fix QuickDic Dictionary Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make QuickDic Dictionary be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to QuickDic Dictionary not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, QuickDic Dictionary may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
