Storm Shield Customer Insights

1. I got a new phone, I tried to install the app, and no matter what I did, the app had issues finding my location, it could not search by zipcode (gave the same 'oops' error as setting up with location), and when I search by town and state, after I select where I am on the map and click 'set location', it does nothing.

2. I got a new phone, and when I tried to set my alerts and locations, all I keep getting is we can't find your location, and when I try to enter it manually I get the same message.

3. I don't like to keep location on on my phone because it uses too much battery plus I live in an area where we don't show up on Google Maps or on the post offices area.

4. I'm getting the alerts, but can't click on them to read them as it brings me right back to the page asking for my location, which isn't working.

5. Before when I could set my location manually I was able to get alerts for my area.

6. The earthquake layer no longer specifies location and to close the info listing requires tapping the X button rather than touching the screen anywhere outside the info window.

7. Now after installing it the app won't connect to it's services, it freezes up on the first set up screens or location set screen if it gets that far.

8. It won't find current location, or when I type location in, pinpoint, and tap "Set Location", the app does not do anything.

9. First, there should be an option to disable saved location markers on the map since it takes up all of the radar.

10. Update: I was able to contact support and fix the issue! It's a great weather app, but I am having the same issues as the recent reviews.

11. They need to restore the ability to set location manually.
