Why should I report an Issue with WAAY StormTracker?

1. Was hoping to add another useful tool to protect my family this tornado season... Though I am getting plenty of notifications about the lightning and rain, that I'm already aware of, in my area.Overall good, but I wish the app would give us explanations for the thresholds for low impact, moderate impact, and high impact, especially when used to describe wind impacts.

2. It sends alert saying "severe storm warning for your area", but only plays back weather report from the news 2 days ago, its awful.It's cool.

3. There's now an ad when you change off the home tab in addition to when you open the app.Removing this for the second time today... Can't be weather aware when I can't leave the homepage.

4. One issue I have is when there are weather news headlines/updates, there is a notification sound which plays very loudly that I have not been able to find a setting to turn off or decrease the volume on.

6. This usually seems to happen between 7 and 8 am modt days but has also happened in the middle of the night a few times.Was working great, but for several days now when I open the app I can't do anything.

7. Different map types that would help ppl who's power is out, have a chance to track a tornado 🌪 in their areaThis is froze.

8. A family in a brick or otherwise normal house wouldn't be impacted nearly as much as a family in a mobile home if 70 mph winds come rolling through, twister or no twister.

9. I just wish there were more options for different types of views of the radar.

10. It's behind on current conditions and severe weather alerts are behind as well.

1. Fix WAAY StormTracker Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart WAAY StormTracker: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the WAAY StormTracker App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "WAAY StormTracker" » Open WAAY StormTracker » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for WAAY StormTracker » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear WAAY StormTracker app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from WAAY StormTracker servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "WAAY StormTracker" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check WAAY StormTracker app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, WAAY StormTracker might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall WAAY StormTracker. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall WAAY StormTracker then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing WAAY StormTracker not working

2. Fix WAAY StormTracker Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make WAAY StormTracker be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to WAAY StormTracker not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, WAAY StormTracker may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
