Why should I report an Issue with Vaavud Wind Meter?

1. Not sure why they're still selling the vaavud hardware... They open sourced the app on GitHub maybe that version would allow at least wind speed measurement.Sucks has anyone found another app it works with well it works on a older phone website not available.

2. There's a post on Sailflow that they are hosting the app, but since Vaanud is technically out of business, it would be nice if the meter worked with other apps.This app doesn't work, no wind measurements possible.

3. business is longer operatingWhat a stupid application... I have a wind sensor from vaavud but the application doesn't work with it.

4. can't even set the unit a measurement permanently, so you have to tap the screen and then go through every unit if you don't want the default one really kind of sad that I spent fifty bucks on this Hardware there's no app to back it up with any sort of functionality.

7. I found the meter itself on clearance for less than $10 at West Marine.

1. Fix Vaavud Wind Meter Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Vaavud Wind Meter: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Vaavud Wind Meter App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Vaavud Wind Meter" » Open Vaavud Wind Meter » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Vaavud Wind Meter » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Vaavud Wind Meter app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Vaavud Wind Meter servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Vaavud Wind Meter" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Vaavud Wind Meter app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Vaavud Wind Meter might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Vaavud Wind Meter. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Vaavud Wind Meter then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Vaavud Wind Meter not working

2. Fix Vaavud Wind Meter Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Vaavud Wind Meter be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Vaavud Wind Meter not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Vaavud Wind Meter may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
