1. "OMG, FLASHCARDS?! This is the greatest.... Uh, THING I've ever seen! (I'm going to start using them to increase my vocabulary immediately.) I actually have been using a physical dictionary, and writing down definitions on paper; but this is totally more convenient."So far, all good.
2. This causes issues with the personalization of your ads if you care about that sort of thing, not to mention being redirected somewhere when you just wanted to look up a word and get back to your novel.Great app, best dictionary for offline use.
3. Edit... By integrating into the system, I mean into the keyboard and/or when you select/highlight a word and the copy paste etc options pop up, there is no option to to directly go to the dictionary app.
4. Mark Twain said, "The difference between the right word and the almost right word ... is the difference between the lightening and the lightening bug."EDIT: The flashcards function needs to be revamped, in that you need to have the option to see more than just one definition on them.
5. Other than that, the text first loads in the smallest font and only then resizes, which means the text jumps around uncomfortably and makes using the app slower.I'm not impressed, first it requires you to create an account.
6. Having a feature to turn off the very few areas that I'm not interested in makes it an even faster way to get on my busy schedule. The app looks very good from first impressions, it definitely provides plenty of options and customizability.
7. Why put the search feature in an inconspicuous place, which is used more often?Always a pleasure to visit almost everyday! Great articles and information to help stimulate my appetite for learning.
8. Definitely worth using though, no intrusive ads (though I feel like the 'rate us' could have been less intrusive, maybe as a small pop-up at the bottom instead of the whole screen, but that's nitpicky).
9. However, the Share Menu is far from perfect; it seems that even if email is the only option that will work, you're able to choose any of your social apps & if unsupported, it crashes without notice.
10. One thing I noticed though is that it doesn't have the graphic thesaurus seen on the website, and the website looks so much cleaner, something I'd like to see in the app.
11. I also tried the Oxford dictionary and though it has its own problems, that app did what I described.Best dictionary I have found, including The Oxford Dictionary of the English Language.
