11. The ESV Bible app was designed to be the most beautiful and intuitive Bible app available.
1. The only 2 things I would change would be a more thorough search function (results usually too broad, or absent), and a more direct way of navigating between books and chapters (rather than scrolling).best Bible I have ever had! If listening to a sermon, and a scripture is mentioned, looking the scripture up is almost instant.
2. 2nd, you cannot select more than one verse at a time to share, bookmark, or highlight, and there's no way at all to select the 1st verse of a chapter.Recently updated, loved it before, but it's not as user friendly when it comes to marking favorites and highlighting passages.
3. As soon as I scroll down into the scripture the navigation tools at the top disappear, making it impossible to go to other chapters or books.
4. The developers need to consider putting a little arrow or something next to the book name to indicate that's where you click to quickly navigate between chapters and books.
5. 2 complaints, the search feature only recognizes single words and not phrases, and once you enter a search and click on a verse, you cannot return to the same search results without re-entering the search.
6. There are things I miss about the old version but by reinstalling has resolved the issues I was having with favorites, highlighting and making notes.
7. Now, there are extra clicks to change books, and the scrolling to go from chapter 1 of a book to chapter 10 is a pain.
8. I was using the audio version last night and at times it seems to lag but again it was nice to have this new feature. With the recent update the app is my longer navigable.
9. Those are good features, I just wish app developers wouldn't fix things that aren't broken.Excellent app.
10. Thank you for making a wonderful app! I have several physical Crossway Bibles and they are all excellent (especially the Study Bible!).
11. Latest app update has an astonishing flaw: there's no longer a way to change the size of the tiny font.
