Monterey County Herald Customer Insights

1. App needs an easy link to request redelivery of the print edition of the paper!!!Too basic and boringWhat happened to local sports?I have this app because I like to keep abreast of the news on the peninsula.

2. At $3.99 a week to stay connected, I can't say I would pay that much for a print copy.Since the lates update July 27 I cannot open a news category without the app crashing.

3. However, the frequency with which it's updated is so sporadic I might as well go to the library and read back issues of the paper there.Don't waste your time with this piece of crap app.

4. It is totally disfunctional and will not allow you to share. No driver On Duty with this breaking news app.

5. But it's a fast and easy way to keep up with the local news.

6. I still prefer the real newspaper, but this is a better alternative to the Herald's horribly ad-cluttered website. How odd, well the app is top notch and well designed.

7. Do these updates get vetted before release??Installed, opened and immediate crash.

8. Still crashes on opening. The look of this app is pretty bare-bones, just black on white with a few thumbnail photos.

9. It works in both portrait and landscape modes.

10. Works perfectly on my DROID Bionic.

11. Don't really like the fact that there is ad placement in the app though, very unprofessional and annoying.
