S'moresUp Customer Insights

1. Over the course of a week I tried closing the app, restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling, and emailed customer service multiple times with no replies.ETA: A month later and they charged me again.

2. 2.) Although you have the ability to create chore deadlines, an option to time the reminders, a start time, would be nice.The idea is good, but the performance of this app is very laggy.

3. It's a great app! My only complaint is that when moving points from goals back to your earned coins out of your bank, it seems to not acknowledge and say error alot.

4. I was trying to modify it, add my own chores, it keeps giving me the "error" massages out of the blue, as a result I loose my work, try it again, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

5. After closing the app the first time I have not been able to get past a partially loaded "choose your profile" screen.

6. Update: I figured out how to deal with that issue and realized I just have to send the points to a goal first and then I can send them back to earned.

7. When I go to check chore progress for the week, I get the loading circles forever and then it tells me that it took too long to load and that maybe I'm offline.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix S'moresUp Issues

1. Fix S'moresUp Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart S'moresUp: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the S'moresUp App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "S'moresUp" » Open S'moresUp - Smart Chores App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for S'moresUp » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear S'moresUp - Smart Chores App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from S'moresUp servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "S'moresUp - Smart Chores App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check S'moresUp app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, S'moresUp might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall S'moresUp. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall S'moresUp then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing S'moresUp not working


2. Fix S'moresUp Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make S'moresUp be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to S'moresUp not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, S'moresUp may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
