1. There are a few improvements needed in order to make it even better: 1) As another user commented GPS of user's current location is badly needed, 2) when interacting with the map after storm tracks, and/or reports, current watch/warnings buttons have been toggled to 'on' the map can only be zoomed in/out via + - icons and the radar screen is no longer able to be moved directionally N, E, S, or W.
2. Overall, the app still feels unnecessarily bloated (I'm interested in a storm app for STORMS, i.e. the SPC and radar, not the hourly weather forecast) and is slower than the site, but it's a major improvement over the initial v2 release back in April. It's clear many individuals that are harping on how awesome the app is and it's the best out there are most definitely not very informed about what is actually out there to use.
3. If you want your own radar image, try other solutions.I think they've done an excellent job with the new version! Seems much more stable and user friendly.
4. This version is just like any other radar (4 min behind) and the app takes way too long to load, only to get annoying ads.
5. I especially love the little storm tracking icons that show you if there's hail in a storm that way I know to move my car in the garage 😂I am fiercely 'Texas-loyal' and REALLY want this to be the best weather app out there for us.
6. Please fix these👍The previous version had a far more superior, real time radar.
7. No more enhanced radar features or storm tracking icons.
8. This radar app works in a pinch, but it does give access to their stellar online coverage, which is potentially more helpful than trying to parse out a radar image.
9. Adjust those to running across the bottom of the screen and allow Texans the option of paying for an ad-free version (for a REASONABLE fee).
10. Please consider the need for GPS as the first area for radar (for obvious reasons).
11. I really miss the previous version and I hope they work out the kinks with this current version. The app is great.
