1. Even just having the bottom menu appear along with the top option buttons as you tap the middle of a page would be enough to eliminate all the extra taps needed to return to our library after finishing a book.The updated app has lost so much functionality, most notably, the ability to see every issue that featured a particular character in chronological order was invaluable and now it's gone.
2. I use the app mainly on an epaper tablet and the animation causes the screen to refresh two times until the next page is displayed which is kind of anoying.It was working great on my phone.
3. I can't transition from one book to the next, I have to pull open the drop down, exit, find the next book in the series, click the icon, the click read.
4. Pretty wild they actively choose to have a convoluted interface, especially for a paid subscription service.I really like the functionality of the app, like being able to download comics for offline reading.
5. I stopped collecting in late 80's and the quality of those issues that I'm rereading seems much higher than newer issues.
6. Also, finding new issues (or even collections of old/older issues seems to be harder to find than it should be.
7. There are thousands of comics and series that are easy to find and read.
8. This app crashes every 5 minutes or so when trying to mark back issues as read.
9. If you're interested in catching up on comics you've missed out on over the years and don't want to shell out hundreds to read them, this app is phenomenal.
10. Only four stars though because when searching for issues containing particular characters, many issues are often omitted.
11. Nothing is ever easy or enjoyable anymore!The concept of this app is great, however I can't remove items from continue reading.
It's been two weeks now and still no resolution to the fact that my account does not allow me to access my Marvel Comics unlimited. I have tried on multiple devices and web browsers and no luck. This is supposed to be multi-platform accessible but has been disabled for me, ever since the upgrade took place. When I ask for escalation, I'm told that my device is not supported but others are which is not helpful nor what I paid for.
