1. Some comics can render in higher resolution, but comic book panels in some comics, and graphic novels don't rotate, which would make some comic panels easier to see on a smaller device with a smaller screen.
2. It crashes about every 5 pages and loses my progress, it's slow, navigation is poorly thought out, and sometimes while scrolling pages in one comic opens another for now reason! The UX is horrible, I literally don't know how to navigate and read with this app, and then it's slow and crashes.
3. Say I haven't had time recently to read and I start accumulating books, or I get halfway through a trade I was reading and then start reading something else... it's a nightmare to figure out what is what.
4. The unlimited subscription is pretty limited though, there are a lot of great comics but the final volumes of most of the best ones have to be purchased separately.
5. There was literally no reason to completely change the interface, it's like the people who make these decisions don't actually read comics digitally.
6. Or is it? I'm not enthusiastic about buying a full version just to see if it's as mangled as the preview.] What used to be a pretty decent reading experience on a mobile device has become practically unusable.
7. It feels awkward to have comics of the same series split between a subscription service and individually purchased volumes.
8. And trying to purchase them on the Amazon Shopping app to add them to Comixology doesn't work half the time and is needlessly complicated.
9. I wish I could return all the comics I bought with the old version. On the one hand, this is a good source of comics, and they have a solid selection.
10. You still have to purchase books you want - And do it on a Kindle Device.
11. Uninstalled and Unsubscribed in the same day.Update Comixology's app is still trash, and Amazon hasn't changed anything about the app, before it was a lot better.
