Why should I report an Issue with Thumsters - Parenting App?

1. I have been wanting to create a rewards chart for years, but I havent found the right one and I didnt want to create my own (no time Ive got 3 little kids lol).

2. Less pretty, but more functional.My husband and I were excited for this and willing to pay for a full year until we found that you cannot just let the kids add up the points and choose later what they want to use them for, and it doesn't subtract the points used from the total points shown.

3. Great idea, but a couple flaws that killed it for me: 1) there's no way to turn off the obnoxiously loud sounds for the thumbs up/down 2) almost every time I opened the app, my kids would disappear.

4. So cue my lifesaver...Thumsters! My kids have responded so well and it has been a great motivator for them to make good choices and take ownership of their behaviour.

5. Back to tracking on paper we go.We really love this app and have been long time users, but after the update this morning it started crashing.

6. Would love to give a higher rating but when you can't use something it doesn't matter how good it actually is.Terrific app! It really works well for motivating my son to help out around the house and to chill with the tantrums.

10. Noticed one problem: with a cloud account, goals set on my Android device dont appear as goals on another iOS device.

1. Fix Thumsters Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Thumsters: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Thumsters App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Thumsters" » Open Thumsters - Parenting App » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Thumsters » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Thumsters - Parenting App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Thumsters servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Thumsters - Parenting App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Thumsters app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Thumsters might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Thumsters. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Thumsters then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Thumsters not working

2. Fix Thumsters Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Thumsters be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Thumsters not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Thumsters may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
