Why should I report an Issue with MDict?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.

1. Multiple dictionary search is working perfectly so far on english, japanese, persian/farsi, Arabic ,... Thank you a lot.Great dictionary! Simple, fast, has history and favorites, allows groups, allows also to search inside the definition.

2. Please consider adding this feature to the app I'm really looking forward to it ! I use another dictionary at the moment just beacuse of its 'full text search' ability.Good app if you know where to find mdx dictionaries.

3. Currently all entires in history are listed out, one entry may exist in one dictionary but not in another, it is annoying when it happens when navigating through the history.The text is packed together and all the text looks like one big word/definition.

4. Among many other things, it lets you search multiple dictionaries at once and then search within the displayed entries all at once, highlighting every instance of your search string.

5. because it is confused to discriminate dictThis is such a useful app, however I wish there were this feature in that we would be able to search things through the whole text.

6. I have some notes and I hope to take them in your consideration in the next update : first when I use the other app like browser and pdf reader , and want to use the app in notification center , the whole app open and that really annoying .

7. When I search Chinese words via share, it opens the popup window.

8. In the popup window, if I change the group of dictionary, I lost the word.

9. The history should be listed according to current selected dictionary.

10. Show statistics on how many time the word from history was translated and allow to sort the history by this number.

1. Fix MDict Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart MDict: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the MDict App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MDict" » Open MDict » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MDict » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear MDict app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MDict servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MDict" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check MDict app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MDict might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall MDict. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MDict then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MDict not working

2. Fix MDict Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MDict be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MDict not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MDict may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
