1. Lastly the audio is kind of loud when its processed as a video format compared to any recording app im using.Not sure what's going on, I bought the full version so I could get the video without the water mark.

2. 5!! As good as the old music visualizes with WinampWould be a great app but I keep getting an error that says "this device cannot record video" when I try to record.

3. Get rid of that Google add bar on the dark background and you will get 5 stars.I'm willing to bet that it's not your fault at all, but yet again, I can't use YouTube music with this either.

4. I've emailed them and had no reply.Looks nice but is slow to react to beats, leaving the watcher a bit confused if the music and visuals are synced or not.

5. And YouTube music is made by freaking Google! SHAAMMEE...Okay... I loved your app until it decided to glich out.

6. Even apps that are run by Google that use Spotify and other music apps, can't even use YouTube music right.

7. I tried exiting out the add and giving the reason "ad covered content", although the add went away the bright Google bar remained on the dark background visualizer.

8. Have peace, relief, and love.Visualizer would be perfect if Google add didn't remain at the bottom of the screen.

9. I'll happily change my review with a fix.I like the app with its different style of visualizers to pick from but other than that, the main problem is when saving it as a video.

10. If the sync doesn't seem good enough, consider tapping the screen once, then clock settings icon.

11. I wanted to record audio as a visual representation reacting to the sound but the app crashes when I try to enter this mode.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Spectrum Issues

1. Fix Spectrum Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Spectrum: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Spectrum App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Spectrum" » Open Spectrum - Music Visualizer » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Spectrum » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Spectrum - Music Visualizer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Spectrum servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Spectrum - Music Visualizer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Spectrum app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Spectrum might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Spectrum. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Spectrum then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Spectrum not working


2. Fix Spectrum Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Spectrum be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Spectrum not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Spectrum may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
