1. Also doesn't give you the option for a car BETWEEN years.I could not resist myself to mark 5 stars but I gave 4 because we as middle east we measure driving distance with km/h.. please put as an option to use.This app does't help you find a car.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Find-a-Car Issues

1. Fix Find-a-Car Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Find-a-Car: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Find-a-Car App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Find-a-Car" » Open Find-a-Car: FuelEconomy.gov » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Find-a-Car » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Find-a-Car: FuelEconomy.gov app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Find-a-Car servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Find-a-Car: FuelEconomy.gov" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Find-a-Car app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Find-a-Car might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Find-a-Car. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Find-a-Car then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Find-a-Car not working


2. Fix Find-a-Car Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Find-a-Car be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Find-a-Car not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Find-a-Car may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
