1. Since NOAA Weather Free now includes customizable push alerts and they actually work, I hereby dub this app obsolete and unfortunately, unreliable when it counted the most.like the app except that it chimes and vibrates when you open it, close it, and whenever you even change pages like going to settings to try and get it to stop.
2. I love the app, very nicely designed, great you can exclude some alerts you don't care about, & being able to do more than 1 location is nice too! Except theres 1 highly useful feature is missing... Being able to set different sounds for different types of alerts.
3. multiple locations... Alerts on point...I set mine up (via the OS) to override do not disturb and set up a high volume alert tone.. then set the alert level to, basically, anything I wouldn't want to risk sleeping through.
4. That feature existed in an app "Pro Weather Alert" that was pulled by developer.
5. The alert feature is customizable in many ways.Untrustworthy! Just discovered this morning that we have been under a tordado watch during the night while we slept.
6. I used Pro Weather Alert until it was abandoned by the developer.
7. It allowed turning on and off each & every alert type, & had three severity levels for each alert type, emergency, urgent, & default, each with its own sound & DND setting.
8. Just being able to tap on a location to see the weather warning details is very useful.
9. Can you please add that feature? Easily 5 stars if you do.Lacks customizability, never really replaced Simple Weather Alerts.
10. Alerts and other settings are very tunable to specific conditions Developer is quick to respond if any issues arise.
11. works like a champ! take THAT "developer of 19.99 weather app that doesn't work." I'll stick with this one!Fellow Weather Geek here.
