I don't understand.it actually refuses to read the vin on my bmw , And why would i enter theVINmanually when the scanner is supposedly optimized to read it and do it's thing.I very satisfied with this app, all my life I have been ignorant of how to know the exact information of my car until today I know exactly the car model that I bring thanks to this wonderful APP.Unbelievable detailed information It's very useful and best app But it not shows car's engine name That's why I'm a little disappointedMisleading app.

1. Fix VIN Decoder Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart VIN Decoder: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the VIN Decoder App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "VIN Decoder" » Open VIN Decoder » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for VIN Decoder » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear VIN Decoder app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from VIN Decoder servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "VIN Decoder" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check VIN Decoder app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, VIN Decoder might not work.
