Re: developer comment, thanks for the explanation, but this confusion is causing customers to have a very negative first impression with the app and rewards program and should be addressed asap before you permanently lose the entire early adopter audience.I specifically applied for and received my Techron card so that I could use this app but upon attempting to add the card as a payment method, it tells me my "card can't be added at this time and to contact customer service".

2. Very frustrated..As others have experienced, I got charged the credit price ($0.10/gal more) instead of the cash price when using a Chevron credit card.

3. The whole process of using this app is a pain in the butt! It's way easier using the card and getting your discount credited right at the pump then.

4. Calling the number resulted in more frustration and the credit could be in the form of a gift card instead of a credit card credit! That's just nonsense.

5. Which is why I recommend going touch less which this app does allow me to do so overall I'm very satisfied.When you look on the map it says every station is doing the rewards thing, but I went to 2 different ones and once I got there the app said discount cant be used at that location.

6. I been seeing all those videos of swiping your card and the card reader machine is a fake one that pops off the real one, so someone else is stealing your info, crazy stuff.

7. My only complaint is that the method of selecting the pump number is "too cute," using a draggable graphical dial.

9. Why not fix it on your end instead of having each user call customer service? Seems like a waste of resources and time for everyone.

11. I tried this app at 3 stations, all show up on the app as participants, paid full price, each time.This app only works correctly about half the time.

1. Fix Chevron Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Chevron: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Chevron App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Chevron" » Open Chevron » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Chevron » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Chevron app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Chevron servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Chevron" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Chevron app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Chevron might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Chevron. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Chevron then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Chevron not working

2. Fix Chevron Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Chevron be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Chevron not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Chevron may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
