1. If this last issue is due to not having a membership then I can understand that.What's the point of making an account? The app has been re-released twice since I first started using it and it never supported backing up the favorites library for import to the new app.

2. The reading history does not reflect in app activity and having to manually re-add dozens of titles leaves you endlessly searching for where you left off in the previous version of the app.Previous versions were great, no complaints.

3. History is not showing recent mangas that I have read and my favorites list is not showing updated series that I have marked even when I select it to show most recent updates.

I'm trying to download manga and it keeps pausing so I have to manually start it again, the tags do not work like they're supposed to and half of them are literally missing, you can't change the path of your downloads (I can't even find the download folder), and now my manga isn't even downloading.

5. It's back up and I can read in peace again!It works great for a bit, but then for some reason my favorited series start to duplicate, so that there's 2 of every Manga on my list and it takes forever to scroll through them.

6. The latest version does not show new updates to manga, so I cannot tell if new volumes are being added.

7. I tried installing the new version, but it's wanting me to pay, again to get rid of ads! EDIT: updated score to 4 stars with customer service care: admins reached out and helped restore my purchase.

8. Like having the setting quality always be on HIGH or having manga shown in a grid rather than show up in a list everytime.

9. Now my progress on things I was reading are no longer shown despite having an account, which makes the account feel pretty worthless.

10. Also I have not been able to backup my history or favorites even though I created a free account.

11. And lastly it will say something is updated but won't showDon't get me wrong it's a great app, but it doesn't hold up to an older version (1.2.1.0) in my book.

1. Fix Manga Geek Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Manga Geek: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Manga Geek App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Manga Geek" » Open Manga Geek - Manga Reader » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Manga Geek » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Manga Geek - Manga Reader app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Manga Geek servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Manga Geek - Manga Reader" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Manga Geek app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Manga Geek might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Manga Geek. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Manga Geek then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Manga Geek not working

2. Fix Manga Geek Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Manga Geek be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Manga Geek not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Manga Geek may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
