1. Very easy to read menu and results.Full page ads, ads at the bottom of screen, must pay extra to read basic codes, and still takes 10 minutes to scan for errors.

2. It really only tells you what the problem is and that's all.The app would not connect to the ECU without data... I have two Galaxy j7s, same exact model, so I put this app on the one without data to act as the scanner and it would time out every time... Tried it on the phone with data and it connected right away... What gives? ALSO: It will read the codes but you can only see 1.

1. Fix Obd Mary Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Obd Mary: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Obd Mary App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Obd Mary" » Open Obd Mary – Car Scanner for ELM » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Obd Mary » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Obd Mary – Car Scanner for ELM app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Obd Mary servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Obd Mary – Car Scanner for ELM" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Obd Mary app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Obd Mary might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Obd Mary. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Obd Mary then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Obd Mary not working

2. Fix Obd Mary Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Obd Mary be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Obd Mary not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Obd Mary may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
